A number of weeks ago Miki's school held its yearly Art Exhibit called, Sakuhinten (pronounced: SAWKU-HEEN-TEN). A chance for the students to display some of the art and crafts they've been working on and a chance for the school to hold a semi-formal "open house". As far as educational culture goes, here in Japan this type of Art Exhibit is very, very common among all schools, both public & private.
Here are some photos of Miki's work. You'll notice that her name is the only one written in Roman letters.
