This summer has passed, already and unfortunately, into the realm of somewhat-distant memories. Lucky for us all, we have photographs.
On July 15th I "escorted" 3/4 of my family to the airport in Tokyo for a 6 week vacation on the east coast of the U.S.
First stop: Nana & Pop's house in Delaware. While visiting them Miki & Sam also got a chance to hang out with cousins Evann and Sully as well as second cousins on Ericka's side of the family.
Second stop: Vermont to visit Grammy & Gramps for the better part of 4 weeks.
I remained behind in Tokyo for another week before departing at the end of July for British Columbia.
Due to the sheer quantity (and time constraints imposed upon a father with 2 young girls trying to find the time to update this blog) the photos in this post are not in chronological order. Nonetheless, I'm sure you get the idea.

TJ, the wait was well worth it. How very priceless these photos will be for Sami and Miki in years to come. For us, now, they are! My favorite is Miki, in her little ballet class, and Sami, sitting in her car seat at the Williston kids' concert. Thank you so much. See you on Skype. L, Mom
Hi! I was so excited to see these new pics all on here now! I love them! Looks like it was a blast and I am sorry to have missed your visit this time around. Next time, I promise I will see you! :) I will be on Skype Friday eve for sure (as that will be my first night free this week! Wow.)- See you then???
