Duh. It dawned on me last weekend that we can use our Skype account to call both land-based and mobile phones at local rates. So, seeing as how we really haven't spoken to Greg or Mel much since we arrived, we gave them a ring.
Lucky for us, Grammy answered and she was thrilled to hear from us. It was exciting all around and even though their computer does not yet have Skype installed (soon, we are told) we were pleased to have finally reached them. As Ericka said previously, it feels like we kidnapped the grandkids!
