Last weekend we went to a fall festival at McNabb's Farm & Corn Maze with some friends. The weather was fine and for an island not known for its deciduous trees, the colors were fantastic. We toured the animal pens, picked 3 pumpkins to take home and wandered unsuccessfully thru the corn maze. The tractor-pulled hayride was the highlight for Miki and of course, hanging out with her 2 friends, Imogen & Scarlett.

I'm not sure how we managed to go to McNabb's last year, because we moved in on Oct 17th. Somehow, we fit in a tractor ride and pumpkin picking (didn't do the maze), between unpacking boxes and Halloween. The Oop even wore her costume and was the apple of her Grandparent's eyes.
We're off to the cabin, this weekend, so we'll have to brave both the crowds AND weather, for the last weekend before Trick-or-Treat.
It's a great family tradition tho ... McNabb's.
